Is there any plans to implement group ordering, where multiple people can order and pay and it be attached to a group order with a higher delivery fee set? Several apps including Waitr offer this so customers can place group orders and we can get paid for it instead of doing all orders for the flat delivery rate and getting underpaid or customers having to place several seperate orders and overpaying

Is this feature still being considered to be launched by 2023 Q1?
In exploring the DoorDash really nice app, I came across this Group Order feature. It is definitely extremely impressive and attractive indeed. Tried it out and it works really smoothly. Can even imagine this being useful for schools ordering in bulk from one restaurant for their students, etc.
Is there a rough timeline for the group ordering feature? Is this confirmed for the next 12 month roadmap? 
I am asking because I interviewed about 10 customers that live in dormitories. 5 of whom live in a different dorm on another side of the island. I interviewed them because these were very loyal customers at first (when they were in quarantine), and suddenly stopped purchasing. I discovered they stopped due to high delivery fees per order even when orders are going to the same place at the same time for different customers. 
The pattern was that customers were requesting that they'll like to be able to make GROUP ORDERS. This will be very popular for segments like: 
Employees in the same workplace. 
Students in the same school ordering for lunch and splitting the delivery fee. 
Students in dorm buildings ordering together to split the delivery fee.

Any update? All of our competitors have this option, and it is very popular among people working in same place. In the lunch time they want to place order and split the delivery cost. So it would be nice to have this option as well.

best use case for this for us would be office workers all ordering together - either as a group of individuals - or though a corporate account. With a corporate account would be good to have feature to offer special discounts on delivery charges under certain rules, e.g. X order from the same restaurant

Split the order payment between customers

It would be nice if we have a feature to split the payment between customers. Example: Order 01 Total 20 USD. Customer 1 pays 10 USD and customer 2 pays 10 USD.

Its getting very usual for large orders to split payments between customers in our business model, it would be great if we can have this feature with ordering api.

I agree. We get this request all the time from our customers saying they would order more if they could split payments because it's usually several people working together in an office or friends hanging out. Would be an awesome feature to have! :)
